Global Digital and eCommerce Director (Beauty)


Our client, a disruptive beauty tech brand, is looking for a Global Digital and eCommerce Director. The role will report into the Global President. This is a strategic eCommerce and Digital Marketing role.



The Role


Summary:

  • Reporting to Global President

  • Strategic eCommerce and Digital Marketing role

  • Need to improve conversion and customer retention through more effective leveraging of data and tech

  • Strong collaboration with Comms and Marketing team

  • Managing small regional teams

  • Regular travel to Europe and Asia is required


Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing development of all go-to-market components of the digital experience, including messaging and creatives to drive communication and awareness of features

  • More effective leveraging of data and tech to improve conversion and customer retention

  • Designing and delivering a seamless digital user experience that drives customer engagement as well as business growth

  • Implementing best-in-class Commercial digital adoption and providing insights across the customer journey

  • Responsible for all aspects of the go-to-market strategy and engagement of our customers in the regions and across our strategic global accounts

  • Management of a team of 5 individuals in different regions

  • Responsible for promoting digital features across all customer segments and developing global client solutions

  • Collaboration with business leaders and partners to influence product vision, strategy, and roadmap using internal and client feedback

  • Partnering closely with Comms & Marketing to drive digital adoption and engagement


About You


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred


Previous experience:

  • A strong analytical thinker with a track record of providing strategic thought leadership and delivering high-quality work in a structured, methodical manner

  • Demonstrable skill using reporting and analytics to influence partners and drive meaningful change

  • Proven accountability, integrity and attention to detail

  • A dynamic people leader with a passion for team development

  • Results-driven mindset with the ability to work under pressure, navigate through ambiguity, and balance multiple priorities

  • Creation of best-in-class products and customer experiences that are user-centric

  • Experience navigating evolving compliance and regulatory requirements

  • A global and cultural mindset; experience working with international teams preferred

  • Significant professional experience in product management, strategy, or marketing
